The Shaffer Family Foundation will highlight each of the Beneficiaries for The 3rd Annual Rally for Our First Responders which will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 (rain date is Sunday, June 2, 2024).
Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company serves the City of Rehoboth Beach and surrounding areas, providing Fire and Rescue.
They are raising money for a much needed New Ladder Truck which costs $1.9 Million Dollars.
Most people would be shocked to learn that it takes over $20K to outfit a Single Modern Firefighter. The Shaffer Family Foundation has donated $22k in the last 2 years to the Rehoboth Fire Company which barely covers this huge cost for Only 1 Firefighter.
Donations like this make a measurable difference in their mission to handle emergency situations in our community!
