Cedar waxwing visitors return

Michele Walfred sent this image of a cedar waxwing. “I hadn’t seen this stunning bird on my property in at least 10 years,” said Walfred. “They travel in large groups. A flock is called an ear-full or a museum, but two traveled away to a maple tree near my pond and I got close enough to capture one!”
