Delaware Botanic Gardens hosts Frolic in the Folly
The Delaware Botanic Gardens near Dagsboro hosted its highly anticipated springtime event Frolic in the Folly April 12, drawing gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers from across the state.
The event, held amidst the picturesque backdrop of the gardens’ lush landscapes and soon-to-be blossoming spring flora, featured a delightful array of activities and attractions. The fundraiser was a resounding success, not only in generating support for the Delaware Botanic Gardens’ ongoing conservation efforts but also in fostering a sense of community among nature enthusiasts.
“Frolic in the Folly is the springtime event that introduces our guests and our supporters to the garden so they can see what we’ve done over the winter,” said Ray Sander, DBG president.
As the sun set over the garden, illuminating the blooming flora in a golden hue, guests mingled and shared their passion for nature.
