Delaware State Fair exhibitor entries due by June 1

The Delaware State Fair is looking for exhibitors for a variety of categories at this year’s happenings set for Thursday, July 18 to Saturday, July 27, at 18500 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington.

Exhibiting and taking part in contests at the fair are perfect ways to showcase and gain recognition for talents and creativity. The deadline to enter is Saturday, June 1.

Competitive exhibits open to the public to enter include arts and crafts, garden vegetables, culinary and flowers. From scrapbooking to horticulture, baking to quilting, there's a category for everyone. The Delaware State Fair even has a children's department for ages 5 to 16.

Contest categories include Legos, culinary and flower arranging.

Participants for 4-H and FFA are required to associate their exhibits with a club or chapter.

Livestock exhibits promote Delaware's agricultural roots and the fair's founding values.
