Dewey Egg Scoop to bring fun for all ages March 30

March 20, 2024

The Dewey Business Partnership is ready for families to hit the beach at the Dewey Egg Scoop, starting at 10:45 a.m., Saturday, March 30, and welcoming scoopers divided into time slots by age, on Van Dyke Avenue beach bayside.

Parking and activities are free, with the exception of the adult egg hunt, which is a $20 cash-only participation event. Competition heats up as participants vie for a 50/50 cash prize for the winning egg.

After the hunt, there will be a dog parade for all leashed fur babies to strut their stuff wearing their Easter best.

Kelly Raneiri, DBP executive director, said, “Each year, the scoop just keeps getting better. Last year, we had around 400 people attend and everyone left here happy, including our Dewey pups.”
