Fire burns vehicle north of Lewes

A fire Jan. 31 consumed a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home north of Lewes.
The fire was reported about 9 a.m. Firefighters from Lewes and Milton responded to find a vehicle on Whitehall Drive in flames, officials said. The siding of the home that sits east of Route 1 was damaged by the flames, but officials said there was no further damage.
Firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread.
