Kings Creek travelers pause in Ireland to catch up on Cape Gazette news

Ten couples from Kings Creek Country Club traveled to Ireland in late August to play four rounds of golf and tour Killarney and Dublin. The trip was organized by Accent on Travel and the director of Kings Creek Golf Kevin Wiest. The trip included tours of Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry and a carriage ride in Killarney National Park. In Dublin, the merry travelers visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College, Guinness Brewery and Jameson Distillery. The golfers in the group played Old Head, Waterville and Ballybunion on the West Coast, and Portmarnock outside of Dublin, where Diane Herndon had a hole-in-one.
