Milton Arts Guild spring classes continue April 10

Aspiring artists have a large and diverse range of educational options this spring with Milton Arts Guild’s full lineup of class offerings. All in-person classes are held at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

Introduction to Alcohol Inks with Deb Cebula is set for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 10. Students will experiment with a variety of techniques to create vibrant images on paper or ceramic tiles using colorful alcohol inks. Cost is $55.

Joe Terrone will return to lead a three-part Beginner Drawing series. In this class, Terrone teaches the basics of drawing, including negative/positive spaces, sighting, measuring and value judgments. Classes are set for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.,  Wednesdays, April 17, April 24 and May 1. Cost is $125.

Soul Collage is a hands-on practice of designing a deck of cards using existing images. Instructor Lynn King will lead the class from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, April 27. The unique art form is often used for contemplation and introspection, and the resulting card deck is personal to the creator. The class costs $60.

Spring is in the air with Abstract Watercolor Florals, a Zoom-only presentation with Marie Natale, set for 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 30. In this demonstration, Natale will walk students through her loose and luminous watercolor painting process to create beautiful floral designs. The demonstration costs $50.
