Rehoboth formally adopts budget

Following an error made during a March 15 meeting, Rehoboth Beach commissioners formally approved the Fiscal Year 2025 budget during a special meeting March 25.

As approved, the budget for the next fiscal year, which begins April 1, is $38,570,390.  There was roughly an $80,000 discrepancy from the budget approved March 15 and the actual budget, which was related to not calculating the $100,000 removed from the administrative contingency fund and not accounting for the surplus from property taxes being raised.
