Tom Brett files to run for 41st District House of Representatives seat

Tom Brett has filed to run as a Democrat for the 41st Representative District seat in Delaware’s House of Representatives. Brett is an Army veteran and has extensive experience as a senior business leader for fast-growing companies. He resides in Millsboro with his wife of 27 years.

Brett believes that RD 41 residents and all Sussex Countians deserve a strong advocate in Legislative Hall. He will be a voice for caregivers who cannot find affordable childcare and workers who cannot find affordable housing. He will fight to see that Sussex County gets its fair share of funding for critical infrastructure.

One of Brett’s priorities in the General Assembly will be to sponsor bills that will encourage private investments and take advantage of the massive federal incentives in renewable energy. He believes these incentives will provide good-paying jobs while protecting Sussex County’s natural resources for generations to come.

Brett has publicly supported sustainable growth, clean air and safe water for years. As a representative, he believes he can sponsor legislation to make Sussex County a better place to live, work and go to school.
