Village Improvement Association to host energy event April 27

In recognition of Earth Day 2024, the Village Improvement Association will sponsor an energy event from 12 to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 27, n the VIA parking lot at 415 N. Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach. The event is free and the public is welcome.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with owners of four different types of electric cars as well as experience sitting in the cars. A representative from Clean Energy USA, a local company, will be present to answer questions about the benefits and installation of solar panels on home roofs.

The VIA clubhouse will be open to showcase the organization’s many programs. Committee members will be available to answer questions about renting the oceanfront, energy-efficient property for special events. Lunch may be purchased from the DaNizza Pizza food truck.

The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach is a women’s civic and charitable organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
