May 6, 2024

Worcester Preparatory School students were happy to show their support of Autism Awareness Day April 12 by dressing in blue.

The Upper School Surf Club also collected donations to support the Surfers Healing Foundation, which works to enrich the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing. A camp is held in Ocean City, Md., each summer, providing nearly 200 children with autism and their families the opportunity to go surfing.

Worcester Preparatory School fourth-grade girls dressed in blue to show their spirit for Autism Awareness Day are (l-r) Leah Tunnell, Lewes; Anya Murukutla, Rehoboth Beach; Abigail Kratzer, Bishopville, Md.; and Isabella Labin, Rehoboth Beach.
