‘Evening with Suzanne Westenhoefer’ set June 1

Tickets are now available for “An Evening with Suzanne Westenhoefer,” set for 5:30 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 1, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

Delaware’s 20th RD Democratic Committee is hosting the event, which will also include a Rehoboth favorite – comedian Karen Faber, a silent auction and dancing to DJ Special T.

Individual tickets are $50, and tables of 10 with VIP seating and other perks are $1,000. Funds raised will support efforts to elect local Democratic candidates. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy top-tier comedy and then dance the night away, perhaps even snapping up a great auction item in the process.

Westenhoefer is known for her hilarious, unscripted style of comedy. The first lesbian comedian with an HBO comedy special, she has been advocating for LGBTQ rights, women’s rights and choice, and other causes since the 1980s.
